I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania and a nationally certified school psychologist. I obtained my PhD in School Psychology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have received clinical training in a variety of settings including public schools, the outpatient pediatric neuropsychology department and SCORE concussion program at Children’s National Health System in Washington DC, and most recently, a clinical private practice in the Lehigh valley. I am also a credentialed as a PSYPACT provider, allowing me to see clients from the majority of states in the US via telehealth.
I enjoy providing psychotherapeutic services to adolescents and young adults. My calm, open, and friendly style is a good fit for younger populations and those seeking to create positive change. I have an integrative and flexible approach to therapy that combines cognitive behavior, interpersonal, and mindfulness-based approaches to therapy. My style is aimed to help the individual identify and alter unhelpful patterns of thinking, develop tools to cope with and manage stress, and live more in the present. Additionally, I believe a warm and caring therapeutic relationship is one of the biggest determining factors in client success. Thus, I aim to build a strong connection with clients through which empowerment, self-acceptance, and internalization of skills is encouraged.
When not working, I enjoy traveling, exercising, and spending time with friends and family. I was a collegiate athlete and still love playing and watching volleyball.
